After meeting with my parents for PTC I have to give thanks to all the parents out there that support their children with their education! Read with them and spend quality time together! Please know taking them to dance, band, soccer practice, etc. isn't quality time. They need your time!

my all time favorite quote from PTC came last year, when asking why their son didn't read very much:
OH, he reads all the time... we make him read all the on-screen directions for his x-box games, so he gets plenty of reading exposure every day!
WHAT?!?! No wonder he can't sit still!!
