Sunny Ridin'!

 

Another amazing day on the mountain.  Marc and I went to Brighton last Saturday.  Suprisingly it wasn't that busy.  We rode 15+ runs and loved every minute of it.  The sun was bright and the temperature was perfect.  The snow was okay but the weather made it worth it.

Amy was in labor all night so they had to induce her. She finally had Garrett Krehl Stegelmeier around 8:30am. Congrats! Makell, Kaison, and Quinn will welcome him home soon. They are going to love him and he will love them!

Makell, Kaison, and Quinn came to meet their new brother on Monday night. They all were so happy to see him! They gave Garrett kisses and hugs.

Amy's baby is on his way!

I just got a call from my sister, Amy...she is in labor with her fourth baby. She is planning to name him Garrett Krehl Stegelmeier or Gavin Krehl Stegelmeier. I won't be surprised if the baby boy comes home with a totally different name. My mom and I are leaving Monday to CO to meet the little one and help out as much as we can. Luckily I am off track. Keep all of them in your prayers.

Powder Day!

Another day of fantastic riding!

Marc, Ben, and I rode at Brighton today. The first eight runs were to die for...powder everywhere. Loved it! We found some great tree runs and it wasn't busy with people so we rode all day with plenty trails and space to ride.

I have been riding since I was 16 - thanks to my friends in high school but I only go 4-5 times a year. I should be amazing after 15 years of riding (one would think). I am still your average rider. I still have a lot to learn but every time I ride I get my adrenaline pumping and have a smile from ear to ear.

Today my friend Garrett and I went riding at Brighton. It was 40+ degrees - sunny and the snow was good for a groomed trail. Not much powder was available but the riding we did was fantastical!

Janice and I bought a 10 pack together. I have 5 passes to use this year. I will be riding a lot more this year than last year. I only got up twice. I've already gone three times and I have four passes left. If anyone wants to ride - give me a call!!! I've got the next few weeks off.

This year I really do not care who wins the Super Bowl. I was routing for the EAGLES but they didn't make the BIG game. I am watching the game right now but mostly for the commercials. This u tube clip comes from last year. Enjoy!
