Rim to Rim

Today we biked the Colorado Monument Rim to Rim for Celeste's birthday. We followed the yellow trail (we shuttled the road section). It was a 23 mile trail but I can't claim all 23 because half of it was downhill or going along the top ridge.

On the website it stated this quote, "This is a must ride as it not only has breathtaking views of the red rock canyon and the rock sculptures, but also has become a famous cycling route, being made famous back in the 80's with the Coors Classic and featured in the movie American Flyers." I agree! A must ride. I need to bring my road bike here more often. We frequently mtn. bike when I come and visit my sister but WOW ---this ride was amazing! Downhill was freezing but the view made it worth it!

The Mouth of Babes

Today in church I taught a lesson about being "Childlike" NOT childish.
Matthew 18
1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall ahumble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

I found this video in my preparation:

I want to ask my niece and nephews these same questions and see what they'd say.
