Acoustic Christmas Concert

Our good friend Julia sings with an adult choir and performed a Christmas concert on Tuesday, November 29. The whole concert was acoustic music arranged by her choir teacher and some original classics. All I can say...AMAZING!!! Wish I had that talent. Luckily I have the talent to appreciate and enjoy good music.

Beatles in Concert

Thank goodness my friend, Ben, is always up for an adventure. In October I won tickets to Fab Four, a Beatles cover band, by spinning a wheel of chance. Of course, I doubted that I was going to win but I DID! I thought the concert was going to be in Utah County or possible Salt Lake. When I asked Ben to go I told him the concert was at the Peppermill. Silly me, didn't read on the ticket wendoverfun.com. After work we cruised to Wendover, NV listening to Lady Gaga. The concert was entertaining and the opening act was an Ed Sullivan impersonator and was unbelievably funny and inappropriate. Fab Four played a variety from the collection of Beatles top hits. Loved every song! After Ben and I got very risky and played the penny slots. We both lost $2 - big spenders! We had a blast when we won 30 - 30 cents. The lady by us probably thought we were a bit tipsy. Little did she know...we were high on Fab Four! Next time you have a chance to spin the wheel - DO - you never know what you might win. Next on my TO DO - Wheel of Fourtune or better yet, the Price Is Right's wheel.
