Celebration of Life: Gpa Roger Hansen

Roger Leon Hansen 1933-2010

"Miss Me - But Let Me Go ..."
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room,
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little - but not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me - but let me go.
For this journey that we all must take,
And each must go alone.
It's all a part of the Master's plan,
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart,
Go to the friends we know.
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds,
Miss me - But let me go.

Lake Powell - Fun in the sun

Thanks Amy & Krehl for inviting us to Lake Powell for the week/weekend. I was lucky to trade three days with another teacher and I was able to go to Powell Wed-Sat. We had crazy weather for a day and a half but when the weather was nice we were up early and up late playing in the sun. We wake boarded, wake kited, air chaired, surfed, slalomed, tubbed, and played on/off the house boat. I can't get enough and can't wait to go back in Sept/Oct!!!

2010 Wise Family Reunion

Thanks to my cousin Mike and Dawn for planning this year's family reunion. We had a great time camping, rafting, and fishing at Flaming Gorge. We celebrated Katie (7) and Amy's (35) birthdays and created many new memories together as a family. We united together during this reunion when we heard the news about Gpa Roger Hansen passing on Thursday, August 12. We will miss him but we know he lives and we will see him again. Love you Gma Donna and wish for you only the best during this time. I love you!!!
