My sister made this trip so much fun! Best sister, friend EVER!

For my ward's Christmas fundraiser last year I bought a hummer ride in Moab. I gave it to Krehl & Amy for a gift but Amy and I ended up using it. It was a blast! Granted I've been "real" jeeping in Moab (which is amazing and intense) but this was fun and needed to be used this year.

Fruita Chicks and I biked Slick Rock. Amy and Melanie biked almost all of the uphills. They are so tough! I rode all of the downhill and some ups but not the steep steep steep hills.

Let me just say...HOLY HECK-A CRAZY! This was intense. I liked it. I was relieved when I we finished. I am planning on doing it with some friends in a couple of weeks...but WOW! The double black diamond rating was not a joke. This trail was tough: cliff exposure, technical, steep, gnarly, and just tough! I rode more than I thought I would. I got in a grove at one point and even rode the section that was marked "walk"...didn't see the sign. So thankful I am ok.

Another great weekend with the girls. Love you ladies!

Today I finished my ninth year teaching at JRE. Teaching can be stressful and of course my time management skills need drastic improvement but overall I love my job. I feel very blessed to work with some of my best friends and the parents at JRE are supportive. Cheers to another year of learning experiences. I always hope my students know how much I love them and pray they will continue with a good attitude throughout their education. They still have many years ahead of them in school and I hope to help each student develop proactive habits that will help them throughout their life. I know I am a better person because of them...I hope I can always do the same.

Next year starts on July 25. It will be my tenth year. I anticipate great things! Until then I will enjoy my summer break.
